Dancers entertain shoppers in Newbury's Market Place

DANCERS under blue skies brought a splash of colourful entertainment to entertain shoppers in Newbury’s Market Place last Saturday (April 20).
The Ceroc (modern jive) demonstration was courtesy of Val and David Rokov, who run weekly classes at the Liberty Ballroom, in Greenham Business Park and bring dancers to the Market Place three times a year:
“Ceroc is a great club, which not only focuses on teaching people to dance but also creates a community to make new friends and socialise with like-minded people,” said Val Rokov, adding:
“About 20 of our existing members came out to dance with us on Saturday and we had lots of interest from passers-by.”
A free of charge beginner’s day will be held at the LIberty Ballroom today (Saturday April 27).
