The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations: All the street parties and road closures planned across West Berkshire over the bank holiday weekend
More than 60 road closures have been granted over the bank holiday weekend, as West Berkshire takes to the streets to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Across the country thousands of streets, closes, avenues and lanes will be lined bunting and tables, as residents come together to commemorate the Queen's 70 years on the throne.
The fun starts on Thursday, June 2 and continues until Sunday, June 5 with plans across the district for picnics, parties and plenty of bottles going pop.
As well as the street parties, there are larger events taking place in Newbury, Thatcham, Hungerford, Yattendon, Tadley and Kingsclere.
More than 1km of tables will be laid out across the bridge between Streatley and Goring for what could be the country's biggest Jubilee street party. Around 3,400 people have already booked their place at the table which spans the Rive Thames and joins Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
