Date announced for John Lewis at home opening

The shop will focus on furniture, furnishing accessories, electrical and home technology, and introduce a small assortment of skincare, nursery and travel goods.
The construction of the 40,000 sq ft building is already taking shape - internal walls are now in place - and the escalator and lifts have been installed and the light fittings are almost complete.
Branch manager, Dominic Joyce, said: “We are really looking forward to being part of the Parkway development, working with the other shops and creating a real buzz about John Lewis coming to Newbury.
“Opening in Newbury has long been an aspiration for us and I'm looking forward to providing shoppers with convenient access to our differentiated service, inspiring products and great value.”
Parkway centre manager, Neil Carter said: "We are all really looking forward to seeing John Lewis at home open its doors this April - bringing a fabulous addition to our already great line-up of shops at Parkway.
“The John Lewis at home store will be a great new facet to the centre and is set to attract even more visitors into our town.
“I feel sure that Dominic and his team will have every home in Newbury spruced-up and spring-fresh in no time.”
