Date set for Newbury Ale Festival 2012

The event will be held in Northcroft Park on Saturday, September 8, and is being organized by the Newbury and Thatcham Hockey club and volunteers to raise money not only for the hockey club but also for Naomi House Children’s Hospice.
Over 200 ales and ciders from across the UK are being lined up and for the first time this year, a selection of English wines will be available.
The wood- fired hog roast will again be provided along with freshly made doughnuts and paella.
In previous years, more than 4,000 people have attended the festival, enjoying the ales and the range of music acts.
The varied range of styles, from acoustic and dance, through to rock, ska and spanish blues will be making a repeat appearance.
Tickets are only available at the event, with prices being confirmed nearer the time.
