Pangbourne murder: Date set for inquest into the death of Maya Bracken




A date for the inquest of a woman found dead in Pangbourne has been set.

It will be opened at Reading Town Hall on February 15.

Maya Bracken, 56, was found with a fatal stab wound on the afternoon of Thursday, January 4.

Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit launched an investigation after its officers were called to a reported road traffic collision on the A340 Tidmarsh Road/ Flower’s Hill junction at around 5.45pm.

And then, at around 6.15pm on the same day, TVP and British Transport Police officers responded to a casualty on the railway track near Pangbourne.

Police have confirmed an 18-year-old man died at the scene there.

Friends, family and neighbours have since left floral tributes outside the home, where Ms Bracken had lived since 2014.
