THE third annual Culturefest is being held in Newbury today (Saturday).
Organised by West Berkshire Minority Ethnic Forum, the event aims to bring together different cultures and people through a variety of activities, entertainment and food.
During the day, people will be able to see traditional Thai dancing, the Welford and Wickham band, a Chinese lion dance, Indonesian martial arts and music from the Thatcham-based band Time Spanners.
As well as entertainment, there will be stalls offering Indian head massages, Thai gifts, Chinese art and body decorative Henna art.
The event takes place from 12pm until 4pm in The Grandstand at Newbury Racecourse.

The day of culture will end with outdoor opera La Boheme.
The entertainment begins at Newbury Racecourse with a junior opera production of Prince Caspian, performed by pupils from the Willows Primary School in Greenham.
Then professional company Opera Brava will bring together a cast of national and international singers to perform Puccini's finest score, La Bohème.
