Delays on A34 northbound between A4185 and A415

Update: This has now cleared.

There are delays on the A34 northbound, near Chilton, this morning (Thursday).

Traffic has been building between the A4185 and the junction with the A415.

There are currently delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic.

Traffic England said normal traffic conditions are expected between 9.30am and 10am today.

There are also delays on the A34 southbound between the junctions with the A343 and the A303.

There are currently delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic.

The reason for the congestion is a vehicle fire further south on the A34.

Normal traffic conditions are expected at around 9.30am and 9.45am today.
