Delays on road, rail and public transport due to flooding today (Mon)
Motorists have been warned to expect delays to their journeys with numerous roads closed across the district due to flooding. A full list of the closures can be found here http://ow.ly/ts78C
Rail commuters to London are also experiencing delays as flooding on the lines between Reading and London Paddington has seen a reduction in services with fewer trains running.
First Great Western has advised commuters to add 30 minutes to their normal journey time.
Reading Buses are also running a revised timetable due to road closures, with some services unable to run. These services can be checked here: http://ow.ly/ts7jJ
Further rain is forecast for tomorrow (Tues) and at 3am a yellow severe weather warning will come into force.
There are currently 14 severe weather warnings in force in the south east of England, most of these on the River Thames, however none of these are in West Berkshire.

The River Kennet at Newbury: 1.42m
At Theale: 1.38m
The River Pang at Pangbourne: 1.05m
At Bucklebury: 0.67m
The River Lambourn at Shaw: 0.60m
At Eastbury: 1.58m
At Lambourn: 1.24m
The River Thames at Goring: 5.36m
