Diamond Quality Care celebrates 100 client milestone

A Thatcham based charity has celebrated reaching a milestone – and it celebrated in style.

The staff, clients and wider community raised a glass, on June 15, as Diamond Quality Care toasted reaching 100 clients.

Despite a struggle during the pandemic, Diamond grew stronger under pressure and more than doubled its clientel.

Attendees were walked down a red carpet to a balloon arch before having photos taken with friends and family.

A fun-packed day followed with a magician, disco and photo booth.

“It was an amazing day,” said operations manager Sue Langridge, who took the centre on under All Care services in 2019.

“What I have been doing for the last two years is rebuilding a new Diamond after Covid.

“It has been hard, but it has been totally worth it.

“It is so rewarding. I have a great team I couldn’t do it without them to be honest, they make Diamond.

“We work so well together as a team, it is just an amazing achievement.”
