Dickie Davies to open Ashford Hill with Headley fete

Also president of Sandford Springs Golf Club, Kingsclere, Mr Davies will open the fete at 12pm, with fun-packed family fun throughout the afternoon, until 3pm, including fun dog show, golf game, craft tent, barbecue, photography competition, music by Hannington Silver band, with singing around the bandstand and stalls.
Raffle prizes include two tickets for the first day of England v West Indies at Lords - raffle tickets from the Ship Inn, Ashford Hill and Ashford Hill with Headley community shop in Thornford Road.
The fete was due to take place on Headley Common, but due to the wet weather, organisers have changed the venue to St Paul's church, Ashford Hill Road, Ashford Hill.
