Katy Griffiths on the programme highlights from her first full season at the Corn Exchange

Tickets for the new year are now sale at the Corn Exchange and the venue's director Katy Griffiths advises early booking.

"This is my first full season here at the Corn Exchange. It's been fantastic to be able to put together such a busy and varied programme. There really is something for everyone, and we have more live shows taking place than ever before. So please book your seats now to ensure you don't miss out on the hottest shows

"I'm particularly pleased to be presenting rising star Tim Price's play For Once following its premier at Hampstead Theatre, as well as revivals of classic plays Our Country's Good and Lord of the Flies. Our family shows continue to go from strength to strength and this time round we've got everything from Wolf Tales to Gruffalos. We've also a real treat for young audiences with a performance from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra's Notelets series an interactive concert designed to inspireyoung audiences - they even get to try some of the instruments."

The January to March programme also includes return visits from Scottish Dance Theatre, puppetry from renowned company Blind Summit and some top names from the world of music, comedy and entertainment, including Elkie Brooks, Jimmy Carr and Simon Callow.
