Disruptions to train services between Newbury and Reading

There are some disruptions to train services between Newbury and Reading this morning (Monday).

Great Western Railway (GWR) said all lines were blocked this morning due to a fault with the signalling system at Reading West.

Disruption was expected until 9.30am but GWR has cleared the problem and reopened lines.

Train services between Newbury and Reading are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled or delayed.

This is due to staff displacement.

The Basingstoke/Reading to Newbury services are running with delays while GWR recovers its services.
