THE region has been remembering the fallen on Remembrance Sunday.
Towns and villages fell silent for two minutes at 11am today.
In towns such a Newbury, Hungerford and Thatcham, hundreds turned out to line the streets with, in many cases several generations of family, to honour those who defended the nation’s freedom and made the ultimate sacrifice.
