District set to miss most of severe weather tomorrow (Fri) but flood warnings in place
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind, however reports that most of the severe weather will be experienced along the southern coastline.
It has said that inland, gusts of wind could reach 50mph.
Heavy rain is forecast between midnight and 3am, to reduce to light showers between 6am and noon.
However, the weather is expected to worsen over the weekend, with heavy rain forcast for most of the day on Sunday.
Flood warnings are still in place along the River Enborne and Foudry Brook, with river levels rising due to heavy rainfall recently.
A similar warning is also in place along the River Kennet from Thatcham to Reading.
No properties are expected to be flooded as a result, however the Environment Agency is a warning that low-lying land adjacent to the rivers could be flooded.
