Diversions in place next week for Thames Water works in Whitchurch

A road in Whitchurch is to close for three days this week.

Thames Water is planning to carry out repair works from today (Monday).

In order to undertake the works safely, the company needs to shut Hardwick Road at its junction with The Mount.

While its contractors should be finished by Wednesday, they have permission to keep the road closed for five days.

A diversion will be in place during the works, sending drivers along Path Hill towards Woodcote, on to the B4526 Reading Road, and then the A471, and vice versa.

The works reference is MU70500423185, and has been granted by Oxfordshire County Council.
