DIY, alarms and dog barking top complaints list in West Berkshire
The West Berkshire and Bracknell public protection team has intervened in 117 domestic nuisance reports in the last few months.
They range from noise from music, DIY, alarms, human behaviour, dog barking and other animal noise.
The overwhelming majority were dealt with through negotiation and communications with all relevant parties.
Around 50 enquires were handled for bonfires, fumes, odours and light pollution and dealt with in the same manner.
Other community issues such as high hedges, accumulations and boarding up unsafe premises accounted for 35 service requests during this quarter.
Three enforcement notices were issued in respect of high hedges and unsafe buildings.
