A DOCTOR has been accused of committing historic sex offences against a young boy.
On Monday, November 28, Reading magistrates held a preliminary hearing into the case against Dr Robin Borthwick.
The 79-year-old, of Southend Road, Bradfield Southend, faces five charges of indecently assaulting a boy.
The offences are alleged to have been committed during the 1970s and 1980s.
Magistrates adjourned the case until a later date and instructed Dr Borthwick he is expected to attend that hearing and to enter pleas to the charges against him.
