Dog of the week
Newburytoday.co.uk hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Meg
THIS week Dogs Trust Newbury is appealing for a home for two year old Collie cross, Meg.
Meg arrived at Dogs Trust Newbury as a stray, so sadly canine carers have no history on the lovely lass. She's a typically bouncy Collie cross and has a strong herding instinct.
Dogs Trust Newbury centre manager Maureen Iggleden said: "Meg would suit an active couple with another dog for company that can show her the doggy ropes! She is friendly and affectionate once she's gained her trust in you, this will take a little time but the rewards will be endless.
"I would like to see Meg go to a rural home where she can spend hours frolicking in peace with her new family."
If you think you could offer Meg the home she so deserves please contact Dogs Trust Newbury on (01488) 658391 or visit them at: Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR.
Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
