Dog of the week

Newburytoday hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Monty

THIS week Dogs Trust Newbury is appealing for a home for three-year-old crossbreed Monty.

Monty is a playful, fun-loving cross breed who is keeping staff at Dogs Trust Newbury thoroughly entertained with his energetic, ball-playing antics.

The playful pooch is loyal and affectionate and would make the perfect pet for an active adult home.

Dogs Trust Newbury centre Assistant Manager Jenny Hopkins said: "Monty is so bouncy and full of energy; he loves to play with his canine friends at the centre and would be very happy in a home with a compatible dog who could help him fit in.

"Well mannered, house trained Monty is looking for an adult home with owners who are there during the day and are prepared to give him the time needed to allow his loving personality to shine through."

If you think you could offer Monty the home he so deserves please contact Dogs Trust Newbury on (01488) 658391 or visit them at: Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
