Dog of the week
Newburytoday hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Peaches
This week Dogs Trust Newbury is appealing for a home for one-year-old Lurcher-type, Peaches.
Meet Peaches, our adorable one-year-old Lurcher type stray who came to Dogs Trust Newbury in search of a loving new home.
Dogs Trust Newbury centre manager Maureen Iggleden says: "Peaches is our ray of sunshine and with her very cute but unusual breed, we often get an adoring response from those who come to visit her. She has a very soft cream coat and a beautiful black mask which makes her stand out from the other pooches here at the centre.
"She is a fit and agile young lass who mixes well with fellow canines of a similar size and speed. She would benefit from some more basic training and ideally would suit a young, active teenage family who enjoy playing outside and will give her a lot of fuss."
If you think you could offer Peaches a home please contact Dogs Trust Newbury on 01488 658391 or visit them at: Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR.
Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 18 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
