Dog of the week

Newburytoday hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Brandy

This week Dogs Trust Newbury is appealing for a home for one-year-old cross breed Brandy.

Meet beautiful Brandy, a loveable crossbreed who is looking for a home to call his own.

Dogs Trust Newbury centre manager Maureen Iggleden said: "Brandy is a big bouncy boy with an even bigger heart. He is a real character who loves his toys, his doggy pals and especially people. This happy chap is looking for an active home with plenty of space for him to stretch out his big paws and enjoy plenty of walks."

She added: "Brandy is a real cuddle monster with a sweet, affectionate nature who would suit an active teenage home and he could live with other dogs but tends to chase cats and sheep. Anyone willing to give this delightful dog a chance will find themselves with a dog in a million."

This adorable boy just wants somebody to love him so if you think you could offer Brandy the home he so deserves please contact Dogs Trust Newbury on (01488) 658391 or visit them at: Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
