Dog of the week

Newburytoday hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Charlie

THIS week Dogs Trust Newbury is appealing for a loving new home for one-year-old Collie cross breed Charlie.

Dogs Trust Newbury centre Assistant Manager Jenny Hopkins said: “This special boy has charmed everyone at the centre with gorgeous eyes and loveable nature. But he's not just a pretty face, true to typical collie form he has brains as well as beauty!”

She added: ”Charlie is really playful and loves learning new tricks, which would come in handy for his agility training. He would be best suited to an experienced owner with no children who can give him lots of hugs and kisses and lavish attention on him. Anyone willing to give this delightful dog a chance will find themselves with a dog in a million.”
