Dog of the week
Newburytoday.co.uk hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Hugo
THIS week Dogs Trust Newbury is looking for a new home for gentleman Hugo, a one-year old Dachshund cross.
Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager Jenny Hopkins said: “Hugo came to us a stray, but is already showing signs that he is a very friendly and lively little man. He would thrive with an active teenage family who can take him to puppy classes to help him with his training. He's already seems very responsive to basic training and with a little encouragement will surely master all the basics.
She added: “With some TLC Hugo will certainly become a great addition to any home, and his happy nature will rub off on all the family. Sometimes he is a little cautious around big, bouncy dogs, but we are all sure that once settled into a new home he confidence will grow, just like him!”
If you would like to take the opportunity to make Hugo the new addition to you family please contact Dogs Trust Newbury on 01488 658391 or visit them at: Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR.
