Newburytoday hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Bella

Will this ‘Belle' go to the ball?

Six-year-old Tri-coloured Collie Cross Bella is currently being looked after by Dogs Trust Newbury and looking to find her happily ever after; she wonders if you could now turn her story in to a fairytale.

Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager Jenny Hopkins said: “Belle is a lovely lass and has made a real impression on all the staff in her time with us.

“She is very well behaved and loves her walks and playing ball, she even remembers to bring it back to you every now and then!

“As a typical Collie she is full of life and very exuberant and would suit an active home.

“She loves people and gets on well with other dogs but unfortunately the same cannot be said for her little furry friends, so she would like her new home to be a cat-free zone.

“Ideally she would like a nice country retreat with a teenage family who can take her for lots of nice walks and attempt to use up some of her endless energy.”

If you think you can offer Belle her happy ending please pop in to Dogs Trust Newbury at Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR or call them on (01488) 658391 to arrange to meet her.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
