Dog of the week

Newburytoday hopes to help Dogs Trust Newbury to try to find a home for Holly

THIS week Dogs Trust Newbury is appealing for a home for one-year-old Lurcher, Holly.

Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager Jenny Hopkins is a lively lass with lots of love to give her new family.

"An agile young dog she would benefit from an active home with teenage children that can continue her training and help her burn off some of her energy.

"It is also likely that she would do well at agility training as it would keep her mentally and physically stimulated.

"Due to her breed she wouldn't suit a home with any small furry pets and would ideally like to live with a confident male dog that can show her the ropes.

"With a secure garden to run around in and a comfy bed to snuggle up in this little lady will make a great addition to any home."

If you think Holly would make the perfect addition to your home, please contact Dogs Trust Newbury on at Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR or call them on (01488) 658391 to arrange to meet her.

Please note rehoming will resume on January 2.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
