Dog of the week
He is on the search for a new place to call home and wonders if you can help his wish come true.
Dogs Trust Newbury assistant manager, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Jester is a very energetic boy who absolutely loves his walks and playing ball. He loves people and enjoys making new friends so be prepared for lots of licks! I’d actually say he prefers humans to dogs so would like to be the only pet in the home, if only to be the centre of attention and not have to share all the cuddles.”
She went on to say that with his bags of energy, Jester would benefit from some socialisation or training classes, so that families can bond with their new four-legged friend and to use up some of his energy.
Ms Hopkins added: “A clear daily routine would also help Jester settle in, as will a bit of patience, whilst he gets to know his new home. Hopefully his new active family will have a large secure garden which he can take advantage of but also enjoy taking him out on walks – come rain or shine! Jester is an affectionate boy and with a bit of time and lots of TLC he will make a great addition to any lucky family.”
