Dog of the week
Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Texas is very affectionate and loves to play with toys; he is a particular fan of fetch so anyone that can indulge him in his passion will be a big hit.
“He gets on well with other dogs when out on his walks, just as long as they don’t try and steal his ball! As such an affectionate boy he would prefer to be in an active adult home with no other four-legged friends so that he can have all the attention to himself.”
True to his breed, he is an energetic dog and could do well at agility so would enjoy a new family that can keep him entertained and help him learn something new at the same time.
If there are treats on offer he’s sure to offer lots of licks in return.
If you think you can offer terrific Texas a new home, then visit the centre and you can ride off into the sunset together.
