Dog of the week

Dogs Trust Newbury assistant manager, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Beautiful crossbreed Belle is a very friendly and affectionate lass who is desperately looking for a new family to love and who in turn will lavish her with attention and treats.
She loves a fuss being made of her, and adores her cuddles.
“An active lady she enjoys her walks and playing ball and has already displayed a great talent for catch – she just needs someone to play with her.”
Belle gets on well with other dogs, but unfortunately is not so keen on felines, so would prefer a cat-free home. To keep up with her energetic nature she would like an active teenage family that she can enjoy playtime with, but will equally understand when she just wants to relax in her bed.
Ms Hopkins added: “With a little time to settle in this lovely lady will make a great addition to any lucky family and can enjoy her own fairy tale ending.”
If you think Belle is the missing part of your story and you can offer her a new home, then please visit Dogs Trust Newbury at Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR or call them on (01488) 658391.
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
