Dog of the week
Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Max is a lovely dog and has become a huge hit with all the staff at the centre. He is looking for an active adult home, with a large secure garden in which he can play in and run around in. Whilst he gets on well with other dogs, he would prefer to be the only pet in the home, meaning all the more cuddles for him.
“When not out enjoying his walks this huggable hound loves enjoying a good meal and has a big soft spot for a nice treat, so make sure you put them somewhere out of reach! An active boy, Max is looking for a likeminded family that can help him burn off some energy but equally allow him to rest in peace after a busy day. Although a bit older, Max doesn’t let a little thing like age get in the way of him enjoying play time and he would love a new owner that can dedicate some time to help him settle in and find his ‘paws’ in his new home.”
