Dog of the week
This week, the trust is looking for a new home for nine- and six-year-old crossbreeds Max and Abel.
Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager, Jenny Hopkins, said: “These two best friends came to the centre after their owner passed away and have been inseparable the whole time. “Both Max and Abel are very friendly and enjoy long walks and playing in the garden. When not enjoying the outdoors they love nothing better than having a fuss made over them, and will do anything for a treat and a cuddle.
“Whilst the boys get on well with other dogs they are looking for an active family with no other pets, who can take the time to help them settle into their new environment. With such loveable natures we’re sure that both Max and Abel will make great additions to any lucky family and hope that their perfect family is just around the corner.”
If you think you can offer Max and Abel the fresh start they crave then visit Dogs Trust Newbury, Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR or call (01488) 658391.
