Dog of the week
Two year-old crossbreed Bobby likes soft squeaky toys and chasing balls and also loves a spot of exploring, said Dogs Trust Newbury Assistant Manager Jenny Hopkins.
She added: “Bobby is a lovely little boy, who can be a bit shy of strangers at first so would enjoy a few visits from any prospective family to help him build up a relationship with them, but once he gets to know you he will show his affectionate side. A fan of seeking out new smells in the fields and hedgerows and climbing whenever he can, it’s safe to say he is an inquisitive soul.
“As such an active boy he would enjoy some additional training and may thrive at agility, so this could not only be a good challenge for him but a great bonding exercise for the new family to undertake. Bobby would like a quiet but active adult home where he can settle into his routine and ideally his new home will have a secure garden where he can relax and, weather allowing, sunbathe!”
