Dog of the week

Dogs Trust Newbury assistant manager, Jenny Hopkins, said the one-year-old Lily is a typical terrier and has won over the hearts of many since she arrived at the centre after being found as a stray.
“She loves people, walks and generally being made a fuss of, so anyone that can offer all of this will be a big hit,” she added.
“Due to her age and breed she would ideally suit an active family, which can continue with her training and perhaps take her to some classes, as long as there is a treat involved she will happily play ball.
“Speaking of playtime, as expected she is a big fan of this and would like a family that can indulge her in her favourite pastime. With a little bit of ‘TLC’ and some patience Lily will become a great addition to any lucky family.”
