Dog of the week
Jenny Hopkins, assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said: “Bess arrived at Dogs Trust Newbury after her previous owner sadly passed away and has now been with us for just over a year whilst searching for her new forever home. She previously lived with one lady so she would prefer a similar female based home environment that will offer her a calm haven.
“She is fine with other dogs and people once the appropriate introductions have been made and will happily play a few games but prefers to take a more laidback approach to life which involves her relaxing on the lawn.
“In her time at the rehoming centre she has become a firm favourite with the staff and volunteers alike and just needs prospective owners to give her some time to shine.”
If you think you can end Bess’ search for a good and loving home then please visit Dogs Trust Newbury, Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks, RG20 0HR or call (01488) 658391.
