Dog of the Week

Charlie is a very well behaved male five-year-old chocolate Labrador, who loves his walks.
He is good on and off the lead, and gets on well with other dogs, so would suit living with another calm companion.
He can be a little wary of new people and situations, but once you have earned his trust, he is very loyal.
Dogs Trust Newbury Rehoming Centre assistant manager, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Charlie would suit a quiet adult home in a rural location, which has an enclosed back garden he can relax in.
“He isn’t very fit at the moment, and slightly overweight, so would need to be walked a few times a day to build up his muscles.
“He is house trained, but unfortunately doesn’t get on with cats.”
