Dog of the Week

Assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: "Ebony came to us as a stray so she’s had an unsettled start, but it hasn’t taken her long to show us her sunny nature.
"She’s a little timid, but coming out of her shell every day.
"She’s looking for a new owner who will help her adjust to a routine slowly and provide a quiet, adult environment to help her feel secure.
"Her owners will need to build up a bond with her gently by visiting her on a regular basis over a few weeks before she goes to her new home.
“Ebony is a typical young Lurcher with lots of energy who also loves to play with other dogs.
"She’d be suited to a home with a confident, medium sized dog who can act as a role model and show her the ‘doggy’ ropes’.”
