Dog of the Week

Assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Max would make a fabulous companion for anyone who enjoys getting out and about on walks.
“He’s acquired a little ‘middle age’ spread, so could do with upping his strolls.
“He’d be suited to an adult home in a rural location with no other pets - somewhere he can lay out in the sunshine and take life at his own pace.
“A secure garden is a must.”
She added: “He enjoys trips in the car so would love to go exploring on journeys with his owner. “He’ll benefit greatly from an owner who can give him some TLC and time to settle into a new routine.
“His inquisitive nature will shine through in no time at all and he’ll make a big impression the minute his paws pad into your home.”
