Dog of the Week

Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Ice is a big softy.
“He’s very affectionate and friendly.
“He’s only 10 months old, so his new owners will need to continue his training and reinforce the positive behaviour he’s already learnt.”
She added: “He will require confident handlers and a large garden where he can exercise and also stretch his curious mind.
“He is mixing well with other dogs, particularly larger female dogs, but doesn’t quite realise his size when he bounds over to smaller dogs, so this is something his carers are working on.”
“Ice would be happiest in a rural setting, where he can stretch his paws and get the kind of exercise he needs to stay occupied and happy.
“He loves to play and enjoys inventing games with his toys.
“He’ll make a fantastic pet and we’d urge anyone who thinks they can whisk him out of kennels and into their home to get in touch.
“We have lots of dogs of all shapes and sizes who are all looking for someone to give them a chance.”
