Dog of the Week

Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Pepper is a big softy.
“He loves getting out and about and is raring to go on walks. He walks very nicely on the lead.
“Pepper loves being around his carers and laps up attention and cuddles. He’s very gentle and quietly confident.
“He would suit an active teenage family who will have lots of fun stretching his mind with new tricks – he already does an eager sit and gives a paw.
“He’ll make a super pet for owners who can provide the exercise and mental stimulation he requires.
“He has mixed well with other dogs at the centre, but as he’s a large dog his new owners will need to be confident handlers as some smaller dogs may react to his size.”
If you think Pepper could be a new addition in your home, then visit Dogs Trust Newbury, Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury or call (01488) 658 391.
