Dog of the week
Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “With Strictly fever taking hold across the nation, staff at Dogs Trust Newbury are hoping that one special Greyhound’s glitter ball moment will take the shape of a new home.
"Once a racing Greyhound, Missy is looking for a home where she can retire and enjoy the good life.
“Missy is very affectionate and friendly.
“She has mixed with other Greyhounds all her life and is now enjoying the company of other large dogs at the rehoming centre.
“She enjoys having a mad half hour with her toys. She’s very quiet and gentle and would love a secure garden to laze out in and a walking companion.”
“Missy would suit a quiet but active adult home with no small furry pets due to her racing background.”
If you think Missy could be a new addition in your home, then visit Dogs Trust Newbury, Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury or call (01488) 658 391.
