Dog of the week
Matty is a friendly and affectionate two-year old and is looking for a secure home with a caring owner.
Jenny Hopkins, Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury said: “Matty is a lovely boy who adores the company of people.
“He is a friendly, affectionate chap who is looking for a home with a large, secure garden where he can explore to his heart’s content.” “
“Matty would best suited with an active, retired couple who could be his constant companions, taking him out for walks and enjoying plenty of cuddles. This furry bundle of fun gets on well with smaller dogs but can get nervous around larger breeds so his new owners would need to bear that in mind when out on walks.
“He is a loyal, happy boy who will make a great companion in the right home.”
If you think you could give Matty a happy home, please get in touch with Dogs Trust Newbury on 01488 658 391 or pop into the rehoming centre at Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks RG20 0HR.
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for nearly 17,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 19 Rehoming Centres in the UK and one in Ireland.
