Dog walker attacked in West Berkshire
The man was punched and knocked to the ground while walking his dogs in Burghfield Common between 6-6.30pm on Wednesday July 7.
One of the victim’s dogs got into a scuffle with another dog. When the victim went to separate the dogs the owner of the other dog punched him and knocked him over, causing a cut lip.
The offender was a white man in his 40s, 6ft tall and average build. He had short dark hair and was wearing a blue baseball cap. He was walking a brown terrier, and was with a white woman in her 40s, who was 5ft 8ins with dark shoulder length hair. She was walking a black terrier.
PC Stephen Hinds from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “There were four white men aged between 18 and 20 who broke up the incident. We believe they were local people and we would like to speak to them.”
