Dolly’s library at Lambourn

The scheme, pioneered by the country and western singer, is a book gifting charity and is free for children to join from birth until their fifth birthday.
Each month, all registered children will receive an age appropriate book addressed to them through the post - so, if registered at birth, a child could have their own library of 60 books when the reach the age of five.
The scheme is free to join and there is no charge for the books.
Organiser Helen Hastle is seeking to raise funds for the project and would like to hear from individuals or organisations that may be able to help with this.
