Donkey drive at Greenham Common

The South Region of the Donkey Breed Society is hosting the social event, with around six to eight donkeys expected to take part. Owners will be driving their donkeys around the common, starting from the control tower, at 11am.
According to the organisers, Veronica Lilley and Clare Strang, both committee members of the society, the drivers will be keeping to the paths to avoid disturbing ground nesting birds and the herds of cattle and Exmoor ponies on the common.
Greenham Ranger, Adrian Wallington and Countryside Officer, Simon Barnett have also been involved in the organisation.
For further details contact Veronica Lilley telephone 07711 984824.
