"Don't smoke" - advice from Cold Ash centenarian

Alice Lewingdon, who has lived at Holly Grange in Cold Ash Hill for the past six-months, celebrated her birthday on Sunday with a party.
Mrs Lewingdon, who volunteered at the local Stroke Club for nine years until she was 90, worked in catering in her younger days.
She also lived in America for five years with her only son, 69-year-old David, and travelled the country too.
Before losing her sight, she enjoyed craft works and learned how to make ceramics in America.
Mrs Lewingdon said: "I'm a very varied person.
"I'm very happy and settled at Holly Grange.
"I'm very lucky to be here, they gave me a fantastic day."
When asked what the secret to a long life was, Mrs Lewingdon, who only has a tipple at Christmas said: "Don't smoke."
