Double award for 4 Kingdoms Adventure Farm in Hampshire

An adventure farm in North Hampshire is celebrating after scooping two honours in national farming awards.

4 Kingdoms Adventure Farm, which is just over the Berkshire border near Headley, scooped the Best Event award and Day Maker of the Year in the 2022 National Farm Attraction Network (NFAN) awards.

The Best Event award was for the farm’s spectacular magical Christmas adventure, which the farm puts together every year.

It creates an immersive festive experience and utilises collected information from customers to personalise aspects of their Christmas experience, and professional actors portray this knowledge as their own, such as Santa knowing what presents the children want or who their best friend is.

It also employed model makers to build sets and created its own costumes to be unique from other Christmas attractions.

This is the second year in a row that the farm’s Christmas experience has won an NFAN award after scooping an honour last year for innovation.

4 Kingdoms director Darren Lamb said: “I am so pleased all the hard work and time to make our Magical Christmas Experience has been shown through us receiving this award.”

Darrell Warren of the farm scooped the Day Maker of the Year award, beating more than 250 farm/adventure parks in the UK.

Mr Warren, one of the farm’s longest-serving members of staff, tirelessly puts in 100 per cent effort every day to entertain the children who go to 4 Kingdoms, helping to make their day memorable.

Mr Lamb said Mr Warren was the farm’s most reviewed member of staff due to his dedication to make children have a great day.

He added: “I am so proud of the effort and dedication Darrell has put into his work at 4 Kingdoms over the last nine years.

“He loves his job and we love having him here.

“We at 4 Kingdoms always strive to make everyone who attends the farm have a day to remember.

“The fact we were nominated for Darrell’s entertainment over the other farm parks shows how much of an amazing person Darrell is and how unique 4 Kingdoms is to have him and other members of staff that are so entertaining, helpful and happy to see the children every day.

“Although the award is just to commemorate Darrell, it shows how much of an impact and how much of a role model he is to our other staff to create those special memories for children and their guardians.”
