Hungerford: Dr Hilary Jones visit cancelled

A VISIT to Hungerford by author and television personality Dr Hilary Jones, scheduled for 2pm today, Saturday, September 11, has been cancelled.

Event organisers Hungerford Bookshop announced: "Unfortunately our event with Dr Hilary Jones for his new novel Frontline has been cancelled. We have contacted everyone who bought tickets, but just in case you were planning on turning up at the door we thought we'd let you know.

"Have a lovely Saturday! Do pop in and see us at the bookshop. His book is for sale there as are tickets to our next events with Sebastian Faulks on September 23 and Nicola Chester on October 9."
