Four new entrants included children’s disability charity Dingley’s Promise and three teams from the Royal Berkshire Hospital (ICU, Emergency Medicine and Radiology), which competed for a special trophy.

The racing was competitive, but previous winners Humphrey’s Furry Friends pipped Autism Berkshire by a whisker.

The RBH trophy was won by ICU, which finished third overall. But everyone was a winner and enjoyed a great fun day out, say the organisers.

The crews and more than 20 Rotarians and their families left for home exhausted but already buzzing for next year’s event.
