Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews attend Padworth Common fire

Multiple fire crews worked together to tackle an open fire in Padworth Common woodland yesterday evening.

Crews from both Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident.

Tadley Fire Station tweeted about the blaze yesterday at 7.48pm.

The tweet read: “Crews worked very hard in very hot conditions to get the fire under control.

“Relief crews now in place to carry on damping down.”
