Thatcham drink-driver Carl Ndolezi banned from the roads




A motorist was caught behind the wheel after drinking almost twice the legal limit.

Carl Ndolezi appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 13.

The 26-year-old, of Arkle Avenue, Thatcham, admitted driving a BMW 3 series on the A33 in Reading on Friday, July 26, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 64mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Ndolezi, who was legally represented by Beth Vaughan, was fined £346.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £138.

Finally, Ndolezi was banned from driving for 17 months.
