Thatcham motorist Jake Kingham caught drink-driving in Newbury




A MOTORIST was caught drink-driving.

Jake Kingham appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 26.

The 26-year-old, of Golding Close, Thatcham, admitted driving a red Volvo in Newbury on Thursday, September 5, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 51mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Kingham was fined £600.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £240.

Finally, Kingham was banned from driving for 15 months.
